The mandatory using of objective harmonization indicators to measure the similarities/differences between different nutritional standards used in different international jurisdictions is the original proposal of the author to reach the equivalence principles of food nutrition regulations. This science-based algorithm applied in food nutrition policies from the public hospitals will have a positive impact for the final consumer, as well as for the global food industry production and trading chains.
